Get the best cricket insights in the game.
Add Vision AI to your NV Play cricket analysis tech, and transform the way you play. Track events like ball arrival, footwork, pitch map, release point, and more. Code your data yourself, or let Vision AI automate it all for you. Digging down to the finest details, for the foundational data that winning insights are built on.
Give fans an unmatched match day experience.
Add Vision AI to your NV Play highlights and cricket streaming software, for a fan experience like no other. Life-like ball trajectories and action-packed highlights packages. Your matches have never looked better.
Two cameras, thousands of data points.
All you need are clear pitch markings and a stationary camera correctly positioned at each end. Then Vision AI processes the live video feeds to deliver real-time detections – automatically producing animated overlays and ball clips, and coding raw ball data.
Vision AI is the NV Play platform's MVP.
The proprietary Vision AI engine is deeply integrated into the NV Play platform. It works seamlessly with your analysis, highlights, scoring and live streaming tools. So you can automatically share invaluable data and intelligent insights with coaches, players and fans.
Whatever game you play, Vision AI can change it.
High Performance
This is big data, but better. The long-term detail you need to transform a player’s game, and the real-time data it takes to change strategies mid-match.
Analysts
Reduce errors and biases, and deliver more consistency and accuracy than human coding ever could. Sharper data, smarter results, and deeper insights.
Media, Broadcasters & Live Streamers
Make it easy for fans to follow every ball, with Vision AI ball tracking added to your live stream broadcasts or video highlights.
Cricket Associations
Cricket’s best need the best cricket tech. That’s Vision AI. Here to help the world’s elite players reach the top of their game, and stay there.
The future of cricket is led from the top.
To run Vision AI you’ll need two stable, high-quality cameras. For the best results:
- Place a stationary camera at each end (positioned behind the bowler)
- Mount each camera at 10m or higher for clear visibility over the umpire
- Ideally angle the camera between 0° and 8° off-centre
- 1080p video at 25fps or 50fps progressive scan
- Zoom in so that only one pitch length either side of the wickets is visible
- Set the camera for the best contrast, sharpness, exposure, and shutter speed for the ultimate tracking accuracy.
If you need a hand, NV Play also provides a Setup Assistant to help check your camera quality and configuration.
Vision AI will still attempt detections, but it might not be as accurate. The Setup Assistant will highlight issues like low height, poor zoom, or unstable footage, so you can make any changes needed to improve your results.
Vision AI offers up some of the deepest insights in the game. Including:
- Ball tracking and trajectory visualisations
- Pitch map graphics, showing line and length zones
- Bowler release measurements
- Pitch map measurements
- Ball arrival measurements
- Keeper up/back detection
- Bowler over/around-wicket detection
- Feet movement
- Wide on crease events
- Appeal events
- Automatically generated ball clips
It does both. Vision AI can run in real time during a match, or process recorded video after play. For live mode you’ll need the right hardware and stable video input.
Vision AI automates most coding tasks, but some events might be flagged with low confidence. These can then be reviewed or corrected by the scorer or analyst if needed. You can also add to the Vision AI coding with your own coding.
