Key documents
Which terms apply to me?
- If you have a separate signed agreement with NV Play (for example a Master Services Agreement, Order Form or custom contract), that agreement will usually govern your use of NV Play and will prevail to the extent it is inconsistent with the standard documents below, unless it expressly says otherwise.
- If you signed up online or via an in-product purchase and do not have a separate signed agreement, your use of NV Play is governed by our standard End User Licence Agreement (EULA) and related documents below.
- Everyone who uses our websites is also subject to our Website Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
End User Licence Agreement (EULA)
For most customers who sign up online, our End User Licence Agreement (EULA) sets out the core terms that apply when you use NV Play software and services.
If you have a separate signed agreement with NV Play (for example, a Master Services Agreement or custom contract), that agreement will usually govern your use of NV Play and will prevail over the EULA to the extent of any inconsistency, unless it expressly says otherwise.
Note that standard licence terms are always for one concurrent match/session per licensed user, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
The EULA covers things like:
- what you can do with the software and services;
- rights in content and data you upload (“Input Material”);
- how subscriptions, renewals and fees work; and
- limits on liability and how either of us can end the agreement.

Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
For clubs, leagues, boards and other organisations, our Data Processing Agreement explains how we handle personal data when we act as your data processor.
It covers:
- what personal data we process and for what purposes;
- how we support your compliance with privacy laws (for example, data subject requests, security and incident response);
- how we use trusted sub-processors such as cloud providers; and
- how we deal with international data transfers and retention.
Read the DPA (which forms Appendix 1 to the EULA):

Privacy Policy
Our Privacy Policy explains, in plain language, how NV Play handles personal information when we act as a data controller – for example:
- when you visit our websites, including nvplay.com;
- when we run trials, demos or promotions;
- when we operate our own analytics, product development and marketing.
It describes:
- what information we collect;
- how we use it (including for service delivery, improvement and analytics);
- when we share it with service providers and partners; and
- what rights you may have under applicable privacy laws.
Read the Privacy Policy:

Website Terms of Use
Our Website Terms of Use apply when you browse or use our websites, including nvplay.com.
They:
- explain what you can and can’t do with content on the websites;
- contain standard legal protections (like disclaimers and limits on liability); and
- let you know how our website terms work alongside our Privacy Policy.
Use of NV Play software and services themselves is governed by our EULA or, where you have one, your Master Services Agreement or other written contract with us.

Security Overview
As part of our DPA, we publish a Technical and Organisational Security Overview describing how we protect “Confidential Data” (including personal information and commercially sensitive content).
It outlines our:
- infrastructure and physical security controls;
- access management, authentication and logging;
- encryption and backup strategy; and
- approach to updates and operational security.
You can request a copy of our Technical and Organisational Security Overview by emailing support@nvplay.com.
How we use data
At a high level, we use data to:
- Provide the services
Run scoring, video, analysis, reporting, storage, support and other core features you expect from NV Play. - Improve and develop NV Play
Understand how the platform is used, fix bugs, improve performance and build new tools, models and features. - Create insights and experiences
Generate aggregated statistics and reports, support high-performance tools, and, where appropriate, present content alongside sponsorship or advertising – in each case in line with our contracts and privacy laws.
When we process data on behalf of an organisation, that organisation is usually the data controller and we follow their instructions as set out in our EULA, DPA and any applicable Master Services Agreement. When we use data for our own purposes (for example, analytics or marketing), we act as a data controller and follow our Privacy Policy.
International transfers & sub-processors
NV Play operates globally. That means personal data may be stored or processed in countries other than your own, including outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom.
Where we transfer personal data internationally, we:
- use appropriate safeguards required by law (such as EU/UK-approved contractual clauses and other recognised transfer tools); and
- work only with reputable sub-processors under written contracts that require them to protect data and act only on our instructions.
We maintain an up-to-date view of our core sub-processors and can make this information available to customers on request or, where applicable, via a published sub-processor list.
Questions, contracts & due diligence
If you are:
- a club, league, board or other organisation looking to adopt NV Play;
- an existing customer needing copies of our legal documents; or
- a partner, reseller or potential investor performing due diligence,
we’re happy to help with any legal or privacy questions.
You can contact us using the details in our Privacy Policy, or by reaching out to your usual NV Play contact who will connect you with the right person.
